Athy College expresses its appreciation to our Business Partners Athy International Concentrates (Coca Cola) for assisting us by holding mock interviews with our fifth year students. Greatly appreciated.
Informative and inspirational were the words of John Lonergan, former governor of Mountjoy Prison and outspoken advocate of social justice. "Education is the key" was the resounding theme of his address to students of Athy College as he recounted his experience of dealing with those who had been in his care. John may have experience of a "captive" audience but today he held us us all by his vast knowledge delivered in a most unassuming way. Thank you, John and Ms Seale for organising the event
Engineering is alive and well in Athy College as Killian shows the recent projects he has made in class
