Congrats to Derya Ozdemir on completing the "To Hell and Back" challenge last weekend. This gutsy young lady took on the cold temperature and muddy conditions and still came out smiling. Well done, Derya.

Great day in St Leos for first yr girls Spikeball blitz. Athy navy finished second in their pool, Athy black finished third in theirs. This meant Athy Navy played Athy black in the quarter finals. Athy navy won but then lost to Leo's in the semi final. Grennan College and Leo's qualify for the next round.
Senior Business students at Athy College welcomed guest speaker Anna May McHugh to address them. In her own inimitable way she impressed students with her knowledge, humility and astute business sense. Thank you Anna May
First year mixed spikeball squad from Athy College who played today against Portlaoise College and Mountrath Community School today. Both teams played well but they don't progress any further in the competition. Best of luck to Mountrath in the All Ireland finals.
